Lighting Technician Work Study

The Banff Centre, Banff, Alberta

Responsible for setup, use and maintainence of production and repertory lighting rigs of 400+ conventional and moving light fixtures in four diverse venues, including a fly house, studio theatre, lounge and outdoor amphitheatre. Work show calls as a lighting technician or console programmer/operator as required. Draw, interpret, update and archive accurate lighting plots and paperwork. At all times operate within established safe work guidelines.

Freelance Lighting Control Consultant

Various Projects and Clients Across Canada

Design and implement custom DMX-512 based LED control systems and networks, including building and programming custom control hardware using DMX-512, SPI, RS-232 and other common protocols. Interfaced unusual elements with standard entertainment show control protocols to achieve the unique visions of various artists.
